I want to talk a bit more about SongCast Radio. As we all know, SongCast Radio is a wonderful promotional tool to help our artist’s get their music heard.
Our distribution customers love it and definitely know the benefits. Our SongCast Radio Only customers actually have an additional benefit that our distribution artists don’t have.

When submitting an album for distribution you can submit from 1 to 40 songs per album. Because they are submitting an album for sale, it does have to fall in the confines of the album they are selling, such as number of tracks, cover art etc.

When submitting an album for SongCast Radio Only you can pretty much create your album from scratch. You do not need to submit all of your singles separately and have multiple radio subscriptions going. That can be costly and confusing to keep track of. If you have a bunch of singles you want to get added to the SongCast Radio play list, create a new album and add all of your singles. You can choose to add as many or as few songs as you like to radio. For example, if you create an album that has 13 songs, feature 3 and switch them throughout the month. There is no additional charge to switch tracks from the same album. This way you have one radio subscription charge each month, but can feature all of your songs throughout the month. (keep in mind it can take up to 48 hours for the change to take place on the play list.)
