Google Music Arrives

I’m excited to announce the addition of Google Music to our online music delivery network. Independent artists, bands and labels will benefit from access to this new sales channel and all SongCast artists will have their tracks delivered to Google Music at no additional cost.

The New Google Music Storesongcast_and_google_music

The Google Music store offers more than 13 million tracks from major labels such as Universal Music Group, Sony Music, EMI as well as several independent labels and aggregators, including SongCast.

Listeners can purchase individual songs or entire albums right from their computer or Android device and they’ll be instantly added to their Google Music library, and accessible from anywhere. Prices will vary from $.99 cents to $1.29, and some songs will even be offered for free. Don’t worry though, your music will not be offered for free unless you are asked to participate in a special promotion.

Your Songs on Google Music

If you are a current SongCast artist already utilizing our distribution network, your music will be automatically added to Google Music very shortly. The best part is, it will cost you nothing! It’s included with your monthly membership to SongCast. New artists signing up will also be delivered to Google Music at no extra cost. What a deal huh?

Powerful Sharing Features

As an exciting new feature, the Google Music store has been integrated with the Google+ social network. This connection allows you to share the songs you purchase with your friends via the Google+ service. Your friends will be able to listen (or stream) each song you purchase one time at no cost. This unique sharing feature has the potential to make your next song a “viral hit”. No other online music service offers this feature and sets to allow Google an opportunity to carve out their own niche in the digital music world.

I’m thrilled to make this announcement as all SongCast artists need the ability to reach consumers wherever they purchase and listen to music. By extending our distribution networks through key partnerships such as this one, we continue to deliver solutions for independent artists and at rates they can afford.

Five songs shared at the listed Web site. I have one for sale through SongCast – THE REAL SANTA CLAUSE.

I have written and performed each of these songs an wish (first) to cast these songs to artist in hopes that such artists will record them. I do not know how to reach those artists with this new material.

I have recorded these songs because no-one accepts lyric sheets or sheet music. Artist don’t ‘read’ songs, they need to hear them. Still I have had no success pushing these songs. Now, I am willing to sell them as singles still hoping that others will want to record them.

I am a carpenter with limited computer skills and even more limited knowledge of technical terms. I have several questions that would need to be answered in what you may feel to be a condescending manor. I have a need to be communicated with in that way, not a problem with it. Please remember as you respond to my questions that you are attempting to communicate with a carpenter. For that, I thank you.

I am impressed by the information given me about Google+. I would love to have all of my friends and all of their friends (and-so-on) to listen to THE REAL SANTA CLAUS just one time and then share it with their friend, just one time.

How do I start this action, promote or push it, and encourage this to others who are not connected to me through friends. I am speaking primarily about my facebook friends, I am not associated with another social network.

This is but the beginning of my questions and we are entering the very short Christmas season where this song might have a market. It seems that I should be in a bit of a hurry to move forward with this. I would appreciate both, your quick response and your patience with me.

    Thank you,

songcast originator, I am so very glad to see this site. my Gospel CD that I published some years ago
may finally have a chance to be heard. It was produced to reach the world with the Gospel in song inwhich I have’nt done too good of a job at. songcast may be just what I need to fulfill that purpose. I have wasted enough time not doing much of anything and it’s about time I do what I need to do for the Kingdom of God. thank You again for coming up with this outlet for people like me. sincerly
