Top 3 Dance Breaks From Coachella 2014

Promoting your music is great and all, but sometimes you just want to kick back and enjoy what other bands are putting out there. And where better to kick back than Coachella? Seriously, we hope you went – Pharrell literally pulled every famous person in the world on stage – but if you didn’t go, we want you to know exactly what you missed.promote, your, music

Besides the sounds, sites, skin and smoothies (if you went this year you know exactly what I mean), you missed dancing. No big surprise there, huh? An outdoor, three day music festival with over 300 artists rocking around the clock. The dancing, oh the dancing. Check out the top three impromptu dance breaks we saw that we haven’t quit talking about weeks later:

1.  Beyoncé dancing with her sister

Okay, so Solange is up on the stage busting her moves, right? Only then, all of a sudden, when she gets to “Losing You,” her older sister hops up there and joins her. That’s right: Her older sister, Beyoncé. This was completely unscheduled. Beyoncé doesn’t sing, she doesn’t interrupt—she just has a little fun with her sister, and then they hug. Aww. Here’s the video, for those of you who haven’t seen it.

2.   Leonardo DiCaprio dancing by himself

This is the one that blew up on the internet. Probably because of the associated mystery. First, on Saturday morning, Leonardo DiCaprio was photographed wearing a white polo and gray beret. Then, later that same day, a young woman shot this video of someone in the same outfit dancing like a crazy person. Is it Leo? You decide. Either way, cut the guy some slack. He’s only enjoying himself at a concert, like everyone else.

3.   Justin Bieber dancing with Chance the Rapper

Like Beyoncé’s, Bieber’s appearance was a surprise (although perhaps a less welcome one). He took the stage during Chance the Rapper’s set, to perform their song “Confident.” Bieber showed off his hip-hop dancing skills with some rapid footwork. There’s a video on his Instagram.

Is all this footage giving you renewed energy to promote your music, get featured on iTunes, and play at festivals? Good! You’re already at the right place to get started—head on over to our homepage to learn how SongCast can get your band out of your garage and into the world.
